I’ve gone from a plumbing apprentice at 16 to one-man-band plumber to CEO of the largest national central heating systems installation company by 28. But I didn’t always have this insight.
It took a lot of hard lessons and finding the right mentors (including Lord Sugar, Gary Vaynerchuk and Grant Cordone), to learn what I know now.
The main thing is that while you’re probably working all hours and running off your feet, you’re just not focusing on the things that will grow your company and income. And without the right foundations, it's easy to become so busy you might even have to start turning the work away...
